This post for a good friend who asked me for some questions he could use for interviewing a Systems Engineer & Systems Administrator (Microsoft).

Here is a good list of questions I ask, or have been asked.  And don’t be afraid to ask the same question to different people or some IT Professional – sometimes it is interesting to interviewing different perspectives.  Also, don’t feel like you need to ask all these questions.

Q9       What is Network Teaming & Load Balancing?

Q10     Explain VPN & its type? (PPTP – SSTP – L2TP – IKEv2)
            Explain RRAS?

Q12     Explain Email Server and Protocols?
